Two weeks ago I pondered out load, "are the Cajuns really in danger of not making the Sun Belt Tournament?" It seemed ridiculous to me. But with three games to play, the answer is "Yes."

Louisiana enters the final stretch of games in the tenth and final spot in the Sun Belt standings. The Cajuns are a half game behind Coastal Carolina and Arkansas State, two teams the Cajuns will still play.

Louisiana's 83-77 loss at ULM was a pivotal game. A win and Louisiana would have been eighth and the Warhawks would have been all but eliminated from contention, out of tenth by three games. Instead, ULM and Troy remain in postseason contention with two final games to go.
