Destiny McAfee scored 9 of her team high 14 points in the fourth, helping the Cajuns overcome a 5-point hole with five minutes to play. Skyler Goodwin scored 12, Ty Doucet 9, while pulling in 12 rebounds.
Louisiana moves to 4-1 in Sun Belt play after a perfect 3-0 weekend. On Friday the Cajuns outlasted Arkansas Sate in overtime 67-65. On Saturday the Cajuns beat AState 70-58.
Monday's game was a makeup from a COVID postponement earlier in the month. Louisiana plays next at home Friday against Texas State.
