LAFAYETTE (KATC) – The Ragin’ Cajuns are in an unfamiliar spot. They’ve lost 7-straight games, a streak that’s only happened three other times under coach Tony Robichaux.
The Cajuns have been swept by UT-Arlington, lost a midweek battle to Southern Miss, and this weekend were swept by Texas State this past weekend.
The Cajuns have allowed 58 runs during the streak and allowed nine 3+ run innings.
“The only guarantee is if you quit it’s over. But if you fix the 3 run inning, you have a chance,” he said Monday.
A Tony Robichaux led Cajuns team has only allowed four such streaks before, 2012, 2003 and 1996.
