LAFAYETTE (KATC) — After being blown out on the road at Mississippi State, you might have expected Billy Napier to give the old Bill Belichick treatment, no not trading for Josh Gordon, but addressing the loss briefly and moving on.
Instead Napier spent time Monday giving the 14th ranked team in the country a lot credit for beating the Cajuns 56-10 Saturday. A game in which the Bulldogs racked up more than 600 yards, at 8.5 yards per-play.
Napier said the team won’t dwell on the problems, but focus on solutions. Coach anticipated a good week of practice saying “Sometimes it takes a crisis to get your attention. No matter if you’re a college football player or a businessman. Sometimes it takes a crisis to get your business in order. Make sure that you’re evaluating yourself and thinking of solutions and not problems.”
