Southwestern Athletic Conference commissioner Charles McClelland says a report saying the SWAC will cancel fall sports is "100 percent not accurate."
McClelland spoke with the Advocate following a Stadium report that said the conference will announce the cancellation of fall sports on Monday. McClleland confirmed that the league will vote on the conference's fate, but that "No decision has been made yet.”

While his statement shoots down Brett McMurphy's initial report, it doesn't necessary give life to a football season, it simply doesn't nix it just yet.

Thursday the Colonial Athletic Conference, the SEC of the FCS if I may, announced it would suspend fall sports this year, though some teams in that conference have vowed to fill out schedules and compete this fall.
