UPDATE: The New Orleans Saints will hold a 3 p.m. press conference in the indoor facility of the Ochsner Sports Performance Center.

ORIGINAL STORY: The speculation regarding Sean Payton's future with the New Orleans Saints continues today, as an NFL reporter tweeted that he's been told the coach is "stepping away."

Following that tweet, numerous media outlets posted that Payton is "retiring," but so far there's nothing attributable to anyone but "sources."
