NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The New Orleans Saints preseason is without a win after two games. The Black and Gold got crushed by the Los Angeles Rams, 34-0.
With Tyler Shough sitting out for the second preseason game in a row, Zach Wilson got the start at quarterback. The veteran quarterback threw a touchdown pass last week against the Jaguars, but against the Rams Wilson struggled.
The former first-round pick went 6/12 passing, 55 yards, and an interception.
Spencer Rattler got the call in the second half, and also struggled. The third-year Saint threw a 100-yard pick-six, extending the Rams advantage, 27-0.
New Orleans was also penalized 12 times for 96 yards in the contest.
On the opposite sideline, Rams quarterback Stetson Bennett went 19/31 passing, 181 yards passing, two rushing touchdowns.
Saints finish their preseason slate at Dallas on Friday night. Kickoff is at 7 p.m., pregame is 6:30 p.m.
