The New Orleans Pelicans drafted Alabama's Kira Lewis Jr. with the 13th pick in the NBA draft on Tuesday.
Lewis, a 6-3 sophomore guard averaged 18.5 PPG this pas year with the Tide, shooting 46-percent from the field, 37-percent from three. Draft profiles categorize Lewis as a very quick, skilled ball handler with a great ability to create shots. He scored s career high 37 points against Georgia in February.
New Orleans drafted RJ Hampton at no. 24, but traded the pick to Denver.
New Orleans has three remaining picks 39, 42 and 60.
