The New Orleans Pelicans signed All-Star Brandon Ingram to a max deal Tuesday.
The contract is 5 years, and worth $158 million.
The 23-year-old forward scored a career-high 23.8 points-per-game last year, and earned his first career All-Star roster slot. Ingram earned the NBA's Most Improved Player award, too, in his first season with New Orleans.
In August, Ingram expressed to ESPN his desire to return to New Orleans.
"This is definitely a special place with a lot of really, really good people and a lot of genuine people, so I'm enjoying where I am at," Ingram said.
