Fox 8 in New Orleans is reporting that T.J. Finley will be LSU's starter when the Tigers play South Carolina Saturday, as starter Myles Brennan is out with a core injury.

Brennan was injured in the Missouri loss. The Athletic reporting this week that he tore a muscle in his abdomen in the first half.
Finley is a true freshman out of Ponchatoula High School. He'll be the school's first in-state starter since Brandon Harris. He'll be backed-up by fellow freshman Max Johnson.
LSU plays at South Carolina. The tigers are 1-2 and didn't play last week after Florida postponed the match-up because of COVID-positive tests.
