No. 1 Alabama rolls over LSU 55-17, wins SEC West

Alabama led early, often and all night in a 55-17 win over LSU, clinching the SEC West division. the Tide will play Florida in the SEC Championship.

Tide quarterback Mac Jones threw for 385 and four touchdowns, three went to former Amite standout DeVonta Smith who caught 8 passes for 231 yards.

One of the few LSU bright spots came from former Westgate star Kayshon Boutte who caught a career high 8 passes for 111 yards. Boutte had a TD wiped off the board when he dropped the ball before crossing the goaline in celebration. Jontre Kirklin picked the loose ball up, earning official credit for the score.

LSU falls to 3-5 on the season. The Tigers play at Florida next Saturday.
