A 247sports report says LSU freshman Arik Gilbert is considering transferring, citing home sickness as a reason the five-star recruit wants to leave.
The Tigers' tight end did not practice Monday.
The report says the LSU coaching staff is trying to retain Gilbert, a Georgia native, but added that it's likely he'll return home for the remainder of the semester.
Gilbert has caught 35 passes for 368 yards and two touchdowns this year.
