After a COVID outbreak tied to a Halloween party, LSU and Alabama's game Saturday has officially been postponed.
LSU is unable to meet the 53-player minimum required by the SEC to play. Ed Orgeron said Monday he was looking at moving players to quarterback to supply the team with depth at that position.
It's the Tigers' second postponed game this season. LSU already has a game scheduled with Florida on December 12th, the team's postseason open date, making it unclear whether or not the two make up this game.
This postponement marks the third SEC game postponed this week.
The LSU-Alabama game scheduled for Nov. 14 has been postponed. The opportunity to reschedule the game will be evaluated.
