The Atlanta Hawks took former LSU guard Skylar Mays with the 50th pick in the NBA draft.
Mays, a senior, played a major roll for the Tigers the past two seasons. He led LSU in scoring averaging 16.7 points-per-game in 2020, shooting 49-percent from the field, 39-percent from three.
LSU has had picks in back-to-back draft classes after Boston selected Tremont waters in 2019. Mays is the 56th Tiger to be drafted all-time.
