Jennings native Etienne scores three times as Clemson beats Ohio State

GLENDALE — Former Jennings star Travis Etienne scored the go-ahead touchdown in Clemson's 29-23 win Saturday in the Fiesta Bowl, a win that sends Clemson to the National Championship where the Tigers meet LSU.

Etienne, who was bottled up on the ground much of the night, cashed in as a receiver, catching three passes for 98 yards, and two scores. Etienne scored once on a 10 carry, 36 yard rushing night as well.

Clemson will play LSU on Monday, January 13th in the National Championship, which is played in New Orleans
