Ingram earns Player of the Week honors

METAIRIE — The New Orleans Pelicans are trending up, winners of four-straight, and for their effort, the NBA named Brandon Ingram the Western Conference Player of the Week.

The Pelicans won all four games last week, Ingram averaging 25.3 points-per-game in that span. He connected on .542 of his three-point-shots. He averaged 7.3 rebounds-per-game, 4.5 assists, and 2 steals-per-game last week.

Ingram is the eight Pelican to win the award, joining Baron Davis, Jamaal Magloire, Chris Paul, David West, Greivis Vasquez, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. It is the first time in Ingram’s career he has earned Player of the Week honors.
