ABBEVILLE — Broc Prejean won a 1A state football title with Vermilion Catholic in 2003, and returns to the school as its newest head football coach.
Prejean replaces Kevin Fouquier who resigned after winning more than 20 games in two seasons.
Prejean has been an assistant for St. Thomas More's football and baseball teams for more than a decade. He coach special teams and running backs under Jim Hightower.
He told our media partners at the Advocate that he plans to finish out the 2020 baseball season with the Cougars.
Prejean inherits a a senior class that's recorded a 31-7 record in three seasons.
