The LHSAA released a memo Friday stating they will be utilizing two sites for Semi-finals for both boys and girls state basketball championships.
This change is to ensure Covid-19 restrictions are being followed.
This girl's location will be split between Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles and Southeastern University.
A week after the girls wrap up, boys will split between Burton Coliseum and the Cajundome.
Schedule as follows according to LHSAA:
- Girls’ Basketball Semi-finals - Monday, March 1st – Wednesday, March 3rd:
o Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA
o Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles, LA
- Girls’ Basketball Finals - Thursday, March 4th – Saturday, March 6th:
o Southeastern University in Hammond, LA
- Boys’ Basketball Semi-finals - Monday, March 8th – Wednesday, March 10th:
o Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles, LA
o Cajundome in Lafayette, LA
- Boys’ Basketball Finals - Thursday, March 11th – Saturday, March 13th:
o Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles, LA
- Game times for Semi-finals and Finals each day will be as follows:
o 12:00 PM
o 2:30 PM
o 5:00 PM
o 7:30 PM
