Friday Night Football week six is underway as teams from around Acadiana gear up to go head to head under the Friday night lights.
The Game of the Week pits a air of district 5-3A rivals as Church Point (2-2) hosts Iota (5-0.) The Bulldogs have mowed down their opponents, outscoring them 185 to 40. Iota beat Church Point 15-12 in last season’s meeting.
The Bears stumbled with back-to-back losses to open the year, but have beaten Kaplan and Opelousas in their last two match-ups. Church Point’s week five game was canceled do to weather.
