JEANERETTE — The Jeanerette Tigers have a new head coach, but he's not new to the program. Coach Clifford Paul has spent a total of 12 years on the Tiger's staff with a break in between.
With a 2-8 record last season, Paul is invested in turning the program around.
"We've been working harder in the weight room and having more discipline. Also focusing on being a very brotherly team," said senior cornerback Andrew Mathews.
The Tigers senior class has also mentioned how they believe their success this year will build them into returning to the top of the 2-A division.
The Tigers have 4 returning starters on each side of the ball hoping to double up their total on the win column.
