St. Thomas More girls soccer plays for the Division II championship Friday against Lakeshore. First kick is set for 4:30 at Strawberry Field in Hammond.
The Cougars have won three-straight championships. Friday's meeting with Lakeshore will be the third meeting in the state finals in recent years after beating the Lancers in 2019, and losing to them in 2017. The one goal STM allowed in the 2017 loss was the last postseason goal the Cougars have allowed.
This is the second year Southeastern University has hosted the state championships
