On day one of the state track & field meets in Baton Rouge the Episcopal School of Acadiana girls didn’t give the competition much of a chance.
The Falcons won the class B girls team championship scoring 128 points, winning by 89. Ten ESA athletes scored individual championships. Samantha Withers led the team with three titles in the 400m, 800m and 1600m runs.
In the class B boys meet, JS Clark Leadership Academy won with a score of 76. The school won the 4x400m relay.
