This week’s Senior Spotlight brings us to Vermilion Catholic where the 3-0 Screamin’ Eagles football team is led by a jack-of-all-trades in senior Ethan Lege. Aside from being a standout wide receiver and safety, Lege also punts, kicks, and does pretty much anything coach Kevin Fouquier needs him to do.
After last season’s heartbreaking playoff loss to Lafayette Christian Academy, Lege’s stellar junior season at wide receiver and safety was good enough for first team all parish and all district, and garnered him second team all-state honors. But success hasn’t come easy for VC’s toughest receiver as he’s had to fight to make a name for himself.
