Friday Night Football Game of the Week: St. Martinville at Beaux Bridge
The battle for district 5-4A takes us into the final week of the regular season at St. Martinville (9-0) travels to Breaux Bridge (7-2) in what will be a district title game. Both squads enter the rivalry contest unbeaten in district play, seeking a coveted outright district title. Led by explosive play makers Markavon Willians and Travian Bengamin, St. Martinville has outscored district opponents 176-59. As for the other Tigers from Breaux Bridge, losses to Teurlings and Notre Dame feel like distant memories as the team is playing it’s best ball, all awhile climbing in in the LHSAA Class 4A power rankings.
