Iota Bulldogs

2017 Record: 9-3

How it Happened: Behind all-state running back Kaleb Guillory, Iota ran its way to the program’s first playoff win since 2002, tripling the team’s win total of the four seasons prior.

Fourth year head coach Josh Andrus expects Iota to be more balanced on offense in 2018 with the return of all-district quarterback Trae Rambin. Rambin threw just one interception a season ago and is one of 13 returning starters for Iota.

On the ground, one Guillory is out and another will be expected to help fill his shoes. To replace Kaleb’s 2,500 yards, the Bulldogs turn to his younger brother Kollin, as well as St. Edmund transfer Luke Doucet. Doucet tallied 1,600 yards himself a season ago.
