Press Release

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Football’s 110-player roster has been set for 2018 Training Camp, head coach Billy Napier announced on Wednesday. The roster size, mandated by the NCAA, allows 110 Louisiana student-athletes to practice and work out with the Ragin’ Cajuns’ coaching staff in preparation for the 2018 season.

The Ragin’ Cajuns report for training camp on Thursday, Aug. 2, with the squad practicing 15 times before university classes begin on Monday, Aug. 20.

As Coach Napier and his Louisiana staff work to teach and train the Ragin’ Cajuns, new faces will be seen all over the football field and weight room. The 110-player roster consists of 37 new members of the program; 35 percent of the overall roster.

Louisiana’s training camp roster features 62 Louisiana natives, including 14 Ragin’ Cajuns that call Lafayette home.
