LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Athletics has made many exciting changes to dramatically enhance the experience for its student-athletes over the past calendar year, and more opportunities will be possible in the future as revenue generation models continue to be implemented.
General admission parking for Ragin’ Cajuns Football home games will have a $10 parking fee, per car. Areas include the parking lots located at the LITE Center, Cajundome, Blackham Coliseum, Hilton Garden Inn and the St. Joseph Parking Tower (Lourdes Property). Payment can only be taken by credit card.
Additionally, a new single-game RV hospitality lot has been created at Blackham ($125 per game, per RV). Users of the area will receive one tow space for an additional vehicle, and shuttle service to and from Blackham will be provided with a dropoff point at the intersection of Cajundome Boulevard and Reinhardt Drive.
Revenues generated continue to make impacts in the lives of Louisiana’s student-athletes, enhancing their academic and athletic experiences. Louisiana has committed to positioning all its sport programs to compete for and win championships, helping ensure that the Ragin’ Cajuns have all the resources available to them for recruiting and developing its student-athletes.
Fans will be aided in their transit to and from Cajun Field with a new interactive parking map available at RaginCajuns.com/FBPark. Live updates to traffic flows, lot accessibility and wayfinding will all be available through the online map. Fans and students are also encouraged to use the campus RideSystems app (available on iPhone and Android devices) to track buses on game days. More information can be found here.
Lots will open at 7 a.m. Changes implemented in the football gameday parking model were made to better align with peer institutions and industry-standard practices.
