Ragin’ Cajuns Baseball Focused on Winning SBC Tourney Title

LAFAYETTE, La. – The bracket for the 2018 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament hosted at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park from May 22-27 has been announced.
 
The tournament begins on Tuesday and ends with the championship game on Sunday. The tournament format combines single and double-elimination play. Two single-elimination first round games on Tuesday precede the start of double-elimination play between the remaining eight teams on Wednesday. The top ten teams, based on conference winning percentage will compete for the tournament title.
 
The Louisiana baseball team will see its first action of the tournament on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. against the highest remaining see of the No. 7 Little Rock vs. No. 10 Georgia State and No. 8 UT Arlington vs. No. 9 Arkansas State single elimination games.
 
All of the games from the Sun Belt Conference Baseball Tournament will be broadcast on ESPN+ and the WatchESPN app.

Tickets On Sale
 
Ticket booklets are currently on sale to the general public, while single session tickets go on sale starting Monday. Tickets can be purchased online at RaginCajuns.com or through the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at the Cajundome in person or on the phone (337) 265-2357 daily from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
 
Tournament booklets are $90 for the Supreme Rice Field Club and grandstand, and $50 for bleachers and standing room only. Individual session tickets are $15 for the Supreme Rice Field Club and grandstand, and $10 for bleachers and standing room only.
 
Fans can also choose to purchase stadium club access per day for $10. Purchases can be made at the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at the Cajundome or in person at Russo Park on game day.
 
Ticket Pickup
 
Tickets that have already been purchased can be picked up at the Louisiana Athletics Ticket Office at the Cajundome on Monday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. or Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Ticket pickup will move to the Russo Park Box Office starting on Tuesday at 2 p.m. through the duration of the tournament.
 
Parking For The SBC Tournament
 
Parking for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament will be the same for Russo Park as the 2018 regular season. Passes for the regular season will still be honored during the conference tournament.
