Not only has the pandemic changed the way we work, it's really made us stop and think about what's important in a job.

A new study surveyed 1,000 workers. They found more than half the group changed the way they felt about their careers during the pandemic.

More than 30 percent wanted to pursue a more meaningful position, and 40 percent say they will prioritize their personal life over their job moving forward.

Experts say to find a company that values its workers, especially during unpredictable times.

"Companies have done a great job of communicating through the recent crisis. But I think we need to keep that going," said Alicia Sleight, Regional Manager of Robert Half Staffing Agency. "Employees want to know where they stand, how their talents can be utilized. And they want genuine reassurance on a regular basis."
