Oceans Behavioral Hospital Broussard is hiring full-time registered nurses to help meet the demand for behavioral health treatment as the coronavirus continues to impact daily lives.
In a recent Kaiser Family Foundation poll, nearly half of adults [kff.org] in the United States reported their mental health has been negatively impacted due to worry and stress over the COVID-19 virus. As the pandemic wears on, it is likely the mental health burden will increase as measures taken to slow the spread of the virus, such as social distancing, business and school closures, and shelter-in-place orders lead to greater isolation and potential financial distress.
Oceans Behavioral Hospital Broussard, located at 420 Albertson Parkway, provides inpatient and outpatient treatment focused on healing and long-term recovery for adults 18-54 and seniors 55 and older. Registered nurses guide daily operations and patient care activities for patients managing depression, anxiety and other behavioral health challenges.
