The Lafayette Parish School System says they have begun hiring for the 2020-21 school year.
LPSS says they are actively seeking qualified professionals to join their team of educators.
Applications are now open for the 2020-2021 school year and include teacher and para-educator positions. The Human Resources Department will post positions daily as they become available, so applicants are encouraged to continue to check the LPSS website for updates.
According to LPSS, During the Covid-19 campus closures, principals will conduct virtual interviews via a video conference platform and staff will communicate with applicants electronically. Those interested in applying for a position should visit the LPSS website www. lpssonline.com/Jobs to view the positions that are currently open and apply for positions they are qualified to fill.
Questions regarding a specific position should be emailed directly to the principal of the school in which the position is located. The principal of each school and their contact information can be found on the website by vising www.lpssonline.com/Contact, selecting the School Contact Directory link and viewing the second page of the PDF for email addresses.
