Crowley's city parks are open again.

Mayor Tim Monceaux said all restrictions are being lifted - but people must still follow mitigation measures, including social distancing of at least six feet, no groups over 10, and wearing a mask.

Monceaux said he also will be visiting businesses that fall under Section C of the governor's stay-at-home order.

"I will encourage them to reopen or continue operations but to do so following the rules as set out in the Governor’s order," the mayor said.

The mayor says he's providing these businesses with clear information about what those rules are.

The section he's referring to says this:

Any business not covered by the guidance from the CISA discussed in Section 3 of the order and not ordered to temporarily close must reduce operations to continue with minimum contact with members of the public and essential employees, while requiring proper social distancing, adhering to the 10-person limitation on gathering size.
