Crowley City hall will re-open to the public on Monday according to Mayor Tim Monceaux.

Monceaux says in a statement that in anticipation of Governor John Bel Edwards’ official order for Phase 3 of a Resilient Louisiana, Crowley City Hall will re-open to the public, with limited access, on Monday, September 14, 2020, at 8:00 a.m.

Starting on Monday, regular business hours for City Hall will be Monday through Thursday 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. and 8:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. on Fridays.

Monceaux continues that the City of Crowley expects to accommodate citizens who wish to enter City Hall but they will be following guidelines for Phase 3 order including building occupancy, social distancing, and wearing face coverings.

"With excitement and enthusiasm, we look forward to serving our citizens, but it is still important for us to observe the highest standards of safety for our staff and citizens. Citizens are encouraged to continue using our online resources and other methods for communication such as telephone, email, and fax. I would like to thank the citizens of Crowley for being very cooperative and patient during the various phases of re-opening our city and state. Please continue to pray for everyone affected by COVID-19," Monceaux said.
