Showers and storms will be widespread across Acadiana to start the week as a wet weather pattern will set up for the next several days.
A few storms will have a chance to be on the strong side with isolated potential for a severe thunderstorm, hail and wind would be the biggest issues we face.
The rain will be a little more widespread by lunch time especially for areas south of the interstate, and while widespread flooding is expected there will be rounds of localized flooding possible.
This wet pattern will stick with us for the next several days, rain chances remain elevated through the middle of the week and by the end of the day Wednesday rain totals will sit between 2-3".
Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s with lows sticking in the mid 70s.
