Heavy rains moving through Acadiana Tuesday are causing street flooding in some areas.
A viewer submitted photo from Chelsi Thibodeaux in Abbeville shows at least 4" of rain in her front yard.
Abbeville Police say that roads across town are closed due to flooding.
A major roadway being blocked off is John Hardy Road near La 14. Also closed are Rodeo Road and some areas of La 14.
Police will be in the area blocking off roadways and asking drivers to turn around.
