CROWLEY, LA — A third suspect has been arrested in connection to a July shooting where one person was shot.
Crowley police along with the U.S. Marshall arrested Deandre Felix on five counts of attempted second-degree homicide. Felix is accused of having in a part in a July 3, 2020 shooting in the Westwood Subdivision.
According to police four suspects opened fire across a field where multiple children were playing and adults were scrambling to protect their children.
The four suspects specifically targeted five victims, hitting one of them.
Three of the four suspects have been arrested and Crowley Police have also identified the fourth suspect and a future arrest is expected.
