Despite waking up to some patchy frost on Tuesday a warming trend will begin here in Acadiana with temperatures increasing through the remainder of the work week.
This is going to come with plenty of sunshine over the next several days and we'll be hard pressed to find any cloud cover the next couple of afternoons.
Highs will be in the mid 60s on Tuesday with temperatures steadily warming up through the rest of the week, we will be looking at highs in the low 70s by Thursday.
The afternoons will be a little warmer but we've got another chilly night coming up with lows dropping down into the low 40s area wide, but even the lows will return to the 50s by the end of the week.
Our next chance for some rain will arrive late Friday night with another front pushing through which will keep showers lingering through the weekend.
