The investigation into the death of 15-year-old Quawan "Bobby" Charles is again getting attention from national media outlets, including ABC News.
Saturday on Good Morning America, the team sits down with Charles' mother, Roxanne Nelson, for a critical look at the investigation.
In the interview, Nelson says, "They could've done more. They didn't. They didn't do what they were supposed to do. Had they done what they were supposed to do, my son would be alive today."
According to police, Charles was reported missing on the night of October 30. His body was found by Iberia Parish Sheriff's deputies on November 3 in an area near Jeanerette.
You can watch the exclusive interview on KATC at 7 a.m.
