Police in Breaux Bridge have released the name of the victim in a Saturday fatal shooting.
A spokesperson the police department identified the victim as 26-year-old Denzel Arceneaux of Breaux Bridge.
Arceneaux was shot near the Pecan Villa Apartments located on Margaret Street on September 19. He later died at a hospital.
A suspect, 27-year-old Brock Williams was arrested on Sunday and booked with second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a gun in a gun-free zone.
