Breaux Bridge Police arrested a local man in connection with last night's fatal shooting.
Brock Williams, 27, was booked with second-degree murder, illegal use of weapons, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a gun in a gun-free zone.
As we reported earlier, one man died after a Saturday night shooting near the Pecan Villa Apartments.
Breaux Bridge Police confirm that one person was shot and later died at a local hospital.
Witnesses tell us the shooting happened near the apartments, which are located on Margaret Street in Breaux Bridge.
