St. Martinville man accused of sexually abusing juvenile

St. Martin Parish, La. - A 34-year-old St. Martinville man is accused of sexually abusing a juvenile, according to St. Martin Parish Sheriff Becket Breaux. He was also arrested twice in September on similar charges.

Following an investigation into the allegations, a warrant of arrest was obtained for Seth Wayne Dantin.

Dantin was being held in the Morgan City Jail on charges unrelated to this incident and was transported to the St. Martin Parish Jail, according to a spokesperson for the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office. He was arrested on charges of aggravated crime against nature (2 counts).

On September 4, 2020, Dantin was arrested by Franklin Police on charges of felony sexual battery and felony molestation of a juvenile.

Dantin was also arrested on September 11, 2020, on charges of molestation of a juvenile (3 counts) and molestation of a juvenile (2 counts) and booked into transported the Berwick Police Department.
