The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office has announced the details for their Toy Drive.
New toys will be collected until December 18, 2020 at 4:30 p.m., and applications for assistance will be accepted until December 4, 2020 at 4:30 p.m.
Local businesses or organizations who would like to be a partner this year, please contact Captain Ginny Higgins (337) 394-2619.
The need is expected to be greater this year than in past years, officials say.
"We don't ever know how many we are going to get to apply, and we don't know how many we are able to fulfill, so it's always great when we can help everyone," explained Major Higgins. "Our hope is that this year we get enough donations to not have to turn anybody away, because that's always hard."
