On Friday morning the Mayors of the municipalities in St. Martin Parish met with President Chester Cedars to discuss trick or treat activities associated with Halloween.

According to St. Martin Parish government, it was agreed that there was no need to impose any specific restrictions on trick or treating.

They say that while the CDC has published “guidelines” or “best practices” which participants may wish to consider, the only requirements or restrictions the Mayors and Parish agreed to impose are the times of trick or treat activities.

The parish has decided that trick or treat activities shall be permitted only between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. on Halloween, Saturday October 31, 2020.
