Below is a list of trick or treat times throughout Acadiana. Most municipalities in Acadiana have not yet decided. KATC will continue to update this list as cities and towns make a decision.

ACADIA PARISH

Church Point: October 31, 5 to 7
Crowley: October 31, 5:30 to 7:30*
Iota: October 31, 5 to 7
Mermentau: Pending
Morse: October 31, 5:30 to 7:30
Rayne: October 31, 5:30 to 7:30; Fright Fest canceled

Parish: Trick-or-treat activities will not be canceled this year. Although trick-or-treating is still allowed within the parish, municipalities remain free to impose both time and place restrictions to assure a safe Halloween night.

EVANGELINE PARISH

Basile: October 29, 5 to 7
Chitaignier: October 31, 5 to 7
Mamou: October 31, 6 to 8:30
Pine Prairie: October 31, 5:30 to 7:30
Turkey Creek: October 31, 6 to 8
Ville Platte: Canceled

IBERIA PARISH

From Parish President Larry Richard: Trick or Treat will be held in the parish on October 31, 2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Jeanerette: City is hosting a drive thru trick or treat October 31, 6 to 8 at Ward 8 Recreational Center
New Iberia: October 31, 6 to 8

Other events:

There will be a Halloween drive-thru celebration in the City of Opelousas on Halloween. City officials and local organizations are planning to host the event at the Opelousas Civic Center on Oct. 31 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

ST MARTIN PARISH

Other events in the parish:

Lake Fausse Pointe State Park will have trunk or treat on October 24 & 31 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM in the RV Campground for the guest of the campground. On October 31, they will have a campfire after trunk or treat by pavilion 1 bring your marshmallows , graham crackers , chocolate to make smores. Or just marshmallows.

ST MARY PARISH

Unincorporated areas of the Parish: Trick-or-treating will go on with some stipulations. Those stipulations have not been given yet.
