The death of a man in Lawtell recently is now being investigated as a homicide.
St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz confirms today that the death of Joseph Vallianhas been ruled a homicide.
Autopsy findings indicated that Vallian’s cause of death was blunt force trauma.
No other information can be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing, deputies say.
