The St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office says they are investigating a death in Lawtell.
The sheriff's office says that deputies were called out to an incident on McClelland Street in Lawtell at around 5:37 pm. Further details on the incident were not available.
A spokesperson for the department says that an investigation is ongoing and that more information will be released at a later time.
