A temporary building has been put into place to serve as a mail pick-up point for residents of Eunice.
The portable building, according to the Eunice Today, arrived on Wednesday, September 25, and is located on the west side at the back of the post office.
Officials say they building will be open for customers to obtain mail and packages from their PO boxes and drop off mail items.
All customers must bring a valid form of ID to pick up any mail.
Operations will be moved to the portable building while the Eunice Post Office's main building remains closed due to "facility-related issues."
One of those issues is the possible presence of mold in the building, according to the post office.
Mail delivery service to Eunice residents has not been effected.
