Spotty showers possible, increasing by the weekend

We're approaching the official start of spring, Thursday night the season changes over, but it certainly feels like it's been spring or a while now.

In fact the overall pattern for Acadiana looks a little more summer like than it does spring.

Winds are coming in from the south around 5-10 mph through the majority of the day, although there will be a slight increase in winds for the end of the afternoon.

Temperatures are going to be sitting around 80 in the afternoon with fairly muggy conditions to go along with it.

A few spotty showers may accompany the cloud cover Wednesday afternoon, although any rain will be short lived.

Shower chances are going to increase on Friday, particularly Friday night and Saturday morning, with a front stalling over the weekend.
