Second man arrested in April 30 shooting

A second man has been arrested in connection with an April 30 shooting that left one man dead.

Harley David Brecken, 33, died at a hospital after he was shot in the chest at a house on Rock Pit Road near Easton. To read the story, click here.

Detectives with the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office arrest Branson Chase Vidrine, 18, and booked him with second-degree murder in the case.

A second suspect, Zane Smith, has now been arrested, deputies say. He also was booked with second-degree murder.

No bond has been set for either man.
