Scott, Duson police host toy drive for those in need

LAFAYETTE PARISH — The Duson and Scott police departments, along with State Farm agent Bryan Schlesinger, are hosting their fourth annual toy drive.

The drive kicks off November18 and toys will be accepted until December 20, a various drop off locations.

Here are the drop-off locations:

Duson City Hall
Scott Police Department
Don’s Specialty Meats
Nunu’s Cajun Market
Landry's Donuts & Coffee
Cashway Pharmacy
Champagnes's Supermarket
Scott Oaks Cleaners
The Coffee Depot
Uncle T’s Oyster Bar

Scott Police Chief Chad Leger, Duson Police Chief Kip Judice and State Farm Agent Brian Schlesinger are working together to collect toys for their annual drive.

The departments have been able to identify which families are in need through being hands-on with the community. They will have the families at the department on Christmas or deliver the gifts to the different families.
